Pre-order OnePlus 7 Pro in India and get one screen replacement worth ₹15,000 free
OnePlus is all set to launch the OnePlus 7 with simultaneous launches in New York, London, and Bangalore on May 14. Usually, OnePlus announces pre-order for its flagship killers a week before the launch but since it’s also launching a Pro variant of the OnePlus 7 this year, the pre-orders have already gone live in India almost a fortnight before the launch. For its patrons and early adopters of its upcoming smartphone, the company is offering major rewards including a one-time free replacement of a damaged display on its “buttery smooth” flagship.
Starting today, you can pre-book a OnePlus 7 Pro in India for the small initial payment. This can be done by purchasing an Amazon gift card worth the ₹1,000 and the same amount will be adjusted when you buy the OnePlus 7 Pro. If you buy the smartphone within the first 60 hours of its availability in India, you’ll get a free accidental protection plan worth ₹15,000 for the display which will cover any breakage in the first six months of your purchase.
Considering that the new and much improved 90Hz Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display on the OnePlus 7 Pro may be one of its most appealing features, coverage of this kind makes sense. Further, previous renders have revealed that the new OnePlus 7 Pro will have an all-screen design on the front, which makes it all the more prone to breakage due to falling – if not due to the envy of other people.

It is to be noted that in case of getting the display repaired, users will have to bear a processing fee of ₹750 alongside any expense in excess of ₹15,000. Oneplus and its executives have stressed on the fact that the display is among the major changes on the OnePlus 7 Pro over the OnePlus 6T, as well as one of its most expensive parts. It remains to be seen if the new, smoother display is able to strike a balance between the company’s tendency to “Never Settle” and the affordable flagship pricing of the OnePlus smartphones.
